Miranda Quade Photography specializes in Elopements, Weddings, Branding Sessions, Portraits, and Conference/Event Photography. With a vibrant, true-to-life editing style, I deliver galleries that are both elegant and deeply personal—celebrating the beauty of timeless moments, both big and small. Every image is crafted to reflect the genuine emotion of your day, with just the right touch of polish to bring each memory vividly to life.
I currently work with two Canon 5d Mark IV's. I carry these cameras throughout the wedding day typically with a 35mm or 50mm lens and a 70-200mm lens. However I do switch out lenses depending on the situation to best cover your day. I do also bring a 2 back up camera bodies and multiple lenses to each event to ensure there is no equipment failure that could possibly keep me from capturing your day! Miranda Quade Photography is also expanding with Drone Coverage coming soon! We are in the process of obtaining our FAA certifications to make sure that all proper licensing and insurance requirements are met to best serve you on your big day! Please note - Not all venues allow drones. This will be a special add on service when allowed onsite.
Miranda Quade Photography is expanding to offer videography services! Videography services will be available to add on to wedding photography packages as well as special combo packages will be release in the coming months! If you are interested in videography services through Miranda Quade Photography, please let me know and I would be delighted to keep you in the loop when these services are available!
All of the cameras I use are equipped with dual card slots, which means every image I take is recorded to two separate memory cards in real time. From the very first click, your photos are automatically backed up in two places.
After your wedding, I transfer all the images onto two solid-state drives (SSDs). One is used during the editing process, while the other stays untouched and safely stored with all the original raw files—just in case. And until your final gallery is delivered, I also keep the images on both original SD cards.
In total, your images are stored in four separate locations throughout the editing and delivery process. It might sound a little over the top, but I believe your wedding memories are irreplaceable. Protecting them is something I take very seriously, and I want you to feel confident that your photos are safe every step of the way.
Within 24 hours of your wedding, you will receive your sneak peak gallery! This will be a minimim of at least 10 images (though typically it is quite more than that haha) Within 8 weeks of your wedding date you will receive the full online gallery of your event via email. After viewing your gallery and with your go-ahead, I am able to send out the email to your family, friends, and guests who pre-registered with the QR code, allowing them to have access to either your full gallery or select images of your choosing. Within 30 days of receiving your gallery, we discuss your album layout! Designing your album can be done entirely online through my album proofing program. We can schedule a phone call or in person meeting to discuss which images you would like to include, whether its the full gallery or just your favorites, we will make sure your album is a perfect reflection of your day to be cherished and enjoyed for years to come. About 12 weeks after your wedding date, Your prints and album will be delivered! The sooner we collaborate to design and finalize your album, the sooner it can be delivered to you. Once your album design is approved, it will be delivered within 2 weeks. Along with your album, you’ll also receive a custom USB/USB-C drive, thoughtfully packaged in an elegant keepsake box for safe storage. It’s the perfect way to preserve and treasure your wedding memories for years to come!
I’m here to help guide and pose as much—or as little—as you’d like. For those timeless portraits of the two of you and traditional family groupings (yes, the ones Grandma will proudly frame for the mantle!), I’ll offer clear direction to ensure everyone looks their best.
For most of the session though, I lean into what I like to call “prompted posing.” Rather than stiff, overly posed shots, I use gentle prompts and light interaction to guide you into natural moments of connection and movement. Whether it’s walking together, sharing a laugh, or simply looking into each other’s eyes, these cues help shift your focus away from the camera and onto each other—making the experience feel less awkward and more like you.
As we go, I’ll tweak small details—like where your hands are or which way you’re turned—to make sure we capture the most flattering angles. I also love incorporating little bits of your story into our time together, using what I’ve learned from your welcome guide questionnaire to spark real emotion and keep things authentic to who you are.
Ahead of the big day, we’ll work together to build a thoughtful shot list. This helps us stay organized and ensures we don’t miss any of the must-have moments—while still leaving room for those beautiful, unscripted in-between shots that often become the favorites.
Yes, I carry all required licensing and insurance to operate professionally throughout Washington State and the greater Pacific Northwest.
Planning a destination wedding? I always obtain any necessary permits, licenses, and insurance coverage for the specific location to ensure there are no disruptions to your photography services. As a preferred vendor at many of Kitsap County’s top wedding venues, my business credentials are already on file with several locations—making it that much easier to ensure your venue has all the proper documentation well in advance of your big day.
I’m confident working in all types of lighting conditions, whether it’s bright outdoor sun, dimly lit reception halls, or candlelit ceremonies. Some venues—particularly churches—have restrictions on flash or lighting equipment, and I always make sure to respect and follow any guidelines they have in place. When permitted and appropriate, I’ll use lighting tools such as on- and off-camera flash to enhance your images. This allows me to maintain my true-to-life editing style while making sure your photos look polished, vibrant, and natural. My goal is always to preserve the authentic atmosphere of your day—just with a little added oomph to help your images truly pop.
