🚨‼️ Mark your calendar, hydrate early, and charge your phone because East Jefferson County is going all out this Saturday, June 7. Here’s how to build the perfect day:
📍 Morning
🌈 Start your day at Port Townsend PRIDE (10:45–4:00, Pope Marine Park)!
Live music, drag, boat parade, food trucks, and 50+ local booths.
✨ Stop by the QEC booth for stickers, ring pops, and high fives! We’ll be there celebrating love, small biz, and big joy.
📍 Midday
🛍️ Cruise through the Port Townsend Farmers Market (9–2) for fresh flowers, artisan snacks, or a Pride picnic to-go. Stock up before your next stop!
📍 Afternoon
💡 Don’t miss Celebration of the Light at Point Wilson Lighthouse (12–4pm).
Tour the lighthouse, hear live music, snack on local eats, and see the original lens reactivated. It’s a glow-up 100 years in the making!
📍 Evening
🎨 It’s First Saturday Art Walk in downtown Port Townsend! Galleries stay open late and this month’s theme is Nature 🌿
Take a stroll, see what our local artists are creating, and maybe bring a piece of the Quimper Peninsula home with you.
📍 Nightcap
🎶 Head south to The Quilcene Lantern for a 7pm show featuring Blair Borax, Danielle Durack & Ellie Baird. This intimate indie-folk concert is the perfect way to close out the day.
🌈 Stickers, boat parades, lighthouses, farmers markets, and live music?
Yeah, this is what community looks like.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our very own Pot-of-Gold aka the Quimper Peninsula! Rainbows and water views for days. Today we’re thinking about luck: How lucky we are to live here. How lucky we are to celebrate here. How lucky we are to be in community with one another. 💚
Whether you feel it naturally or work to create your own - may you feel lucky today and every day. 🍀Cheers, friends! 🍻
💭 What makes you feel lucky about calling the Quimper Peninsula home?
🎉 Cheers to FORTY YEARS of @ptmainstreet! What a sweet celebration of community at @kcptco featuring catering by @admiraltyfinefoods and sweets by @theoldwhiskeymill.
It takes a lot of vision, grit, determination, and foresight to build an organization that has the kind of staying power that Main Street has in Port Townsend. Here’s to all of those people who go above and beyond their 9-5 in service of a town we love - with a very special shoutout to Mari Mullen for her leadership. Thank you, Mari, for everything.
Congratulations & happy birthday, Main Street!
Let’s keep the party going in the comments! What’s your favorite Main Street program or event? 💭
The Hoh Road, the gateway to one of the most sought-after destinations on the Olympic Peninsula, is located here in Jefferson County—yet its impact extends across the tourism industries of both Jefferson and Clallam counties. This critical roadway has been washed out since December 2024, and is at risk of not reopening for the 2025 visitor season. The state has stepped up with funding for repairs, but a $20,000 private match is needed to move the project forward.
If you or your organization can contribute, please email:

⏳ Deadline: Noon, Tuesday, March 11
Let’s work together to ensure continued access to this world-renowned natural treasure! 💚 #HohRainforest #HohRoadRepair #olympicpeninsula
