In 2019, as I navigated the complexities of planning my own wedding in the enchanting town of Port Townsend, I envisioned a seamless process where local vendors would be readily accessible, given our community’s rich tapestry of cottage businesses. Yet, the reality was surprisingly different. I found myself struggling to connect with the necessary services until I embarked on my own venture with Port Townsend Picnics. It was through this journey that I began to uncover a vibrant network of local professionals, many of whom were as hidden as treasures waiting to be discovered.
Port Townsend, while steeped in charm, can sometimes feel exclusive, with locals relying on a familiar roster of contacts for their needs. However, I believe that everyone deserves direct access to quality services without needing insider knowledge. This belief drove me and a group of dynamic industry leaders to establish the Quimper Events Collective, a 501(c)6 non-profit business league dedicated to celebration specialists and event professionals across Jefferson County.
Our mission was clear: to create an inclusive, accessible platform where finding a vendor for any special occasion is straightforward and stress-free. Today, QuimperEventsCollective.com stands as a testament to that mission, offering an extensive online directory that brings your special events to life with ease.
If you’re a vendor in this vibrant region, we invite you to join our movement. The Quimper Events Collective is more than just a directory; we are a grassroots organization committed to enriching our community. We keep local dollars circulating within Jefferson County, elevate the quality of private events, and foster continual growth through initiatives like monthly mixers, continuing education sessions, co-working blocks, and our annual wedding show events.
Our region is rich with talented, determined individuals who are pioneering their dreams with vigor. By engaging with our Facebook page, following us on Instagram, exploring our website, and hiring our members, you are supporting not just a collective but the very essence of our local economy and community spirit.
Thank you for your interest and your support. Together, we are building something extraordinary.
